I can normally scan with root and all is going fine.
Unfortunaltey I get this error message when it is from users, altough all
permissions are ok and scanner too.
It seems taht sometimes the users does :

I can't reproduce this problem. With the same package versions as you
use, I can log into google talk without any problems.
Could you please check again if your password is correct? A bad password
results in exactly the error message you quoted.

I removed the network-manager package yesterday and the wicd can get
an IP address now.
I think is necessary add a conflicts field to avoid problems. Please,
