Maybe I missed something, but isn't the case that is to be sorted out
(for major/minors) the one that has a colon surrounded by digits (like
[0-9]*:[0-9]*) and the case where the root string contains at most 4 hex
digits?

It prvents me to going crazy.
The problem also occures with version 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3+b1 of the
current wheezy.
For me it also happens with kaddressbook alone.
If someone could remove this bug and uncomment the

why is that patch needed?
It is quite non-obvious why would dummy driver require a console under
any circumstances. It does not render anything anywhere so does not
use console for anything.
