It runs fine here with 1:3.8.3-5 but I think there are some problems with
that font.

not sure its important but thought to mention it: This isnt the smallest
config, we do have some 21k checks on that server, and in 2362 of them
the string UNUSED happened to be. All of them failed in this way.
