I would also be misleading considering the fonts are not downloadable
from that site (or I couldn't find how).
Although the site is about Droid fonts it mostly leads to Ascender’s
Droid Pro fonts which are not free.

This is a Pango bug, see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334758
Pango applies the same kerning for as many script the kerning pair is
defined in.
We can fix that on the font side by making sure
