Hi,
uim changed its library soname to libuim1 since version 1.1.1.
So I believe scim-uim has to be rebuild with libuim-dev (= 1.1.1)
for the transition.
Thanks,

Interesting...
I still couldn't reproduce your problem.
Could you check again with nostripped version?
I uploaded them to http://kmuto.jp/debian/cups/

0. hm, soname is bumped up... This is not a problem, but
soname change (API incompatibility) makes a transition work.
Will libuim change it again in the near future?
You should better define which version you'd like
is to install newer cupsys and libcupsimage2
from backports.org if you'd like to keep to use libcupsys2 of
backport.org.

said CUPS didn't provide nothing even if you copied backend programs
from /usr/lib/cups/backend-available to /usr/lib/cups/backend, right?
What kind of printer do you use? USB connection?
Are you using udev?
Thanks,

cupsd blocks if it can't read enough from /dev/random on startup.
Could you tell me how to reproduce it?
This is the wrong code
archive may help me to investigate.
Could you send me it also?

You seem jumble 1.1 series of sarge and 1.2 series of etch.
Please update all of them at first.

hope 1.2.2-1 will work on every parallel port user's environment.
(Is there any other modules we should load?)
