Please consider packaging the PMI2 header files and associated
libraries found under 'contribs/pmi2' in the source tarball.
At present, only PMI1 support is provided via 'libpmi0[-dev]'.

While the fix in 3.12.1-1 brings back the coloring of modified/added
lines, it makes the text in the editor widgets hardly readable in my
setup.
I'm using KDE with the Oxygen theme and gtk3-engines-oxygen to make
GTK3 applications look OK. After upgrading to 3.12.1-1, the text in

digikam crashes whenever I try to stitch panoramic images. After selecting
two or more images in the thumbnail view and choosing Tools - Stitch
images into a panorama..., the wizard dialog opens. Pressing the Next

Since nothing has happened so far with respect to this bug,
let me suggest a potential solution:
Maybe it is possible to leverage 'dpkg --compare-versions'
to do the version number comparison instead of using (and
maintaining) the self-made 'cmpversion.awk' script?
