Package: dkms
Version: 2.1.1.2-2ubuntu1
Severity: wishlist
When I'm uninstalling a package containing and older kernel version, the prerm
scripts appropriately call DKMS to uninstall all of the modules built for that
kernel version. While doing so, DKMS takes the time to run depmod after
Package: exim
Version: 3.36-18.2
Followup-For: Bug #377295
I just ran a package upgrade to the version about from 3.36-18.1, and got the
reported error. I'll be switching to exim4 as recommended soon, but the bug
text did say this would be fixed.

The cdrecord package was turned into a dummy package some time ago when
cdrecord was forked to make wodim. If the dependency on cdrecord is

Package: cupsys
Version: 1.2.4-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Cupsys 1.2.4-1 has an unversioned depends on libdbus-1-3, while 1.2.4-2 depends
on libdbus-1-2 = 0.62. This is a
serious regression, given that libdbus-1-2 has been removed from the archive.

I noticed this misspelling in the output when a package upgrade failed, and so

The included patch also corrects the po files with the offending string and a

Followup-For: Bug #346199

Package: asc
Version: 1.16.2.0-2
Severity: important
I'm trying to upgrade my system, and finding that there is a version
of asc newer than the version of asc-data. Since asc depends on the
same version of asc-data(=1.16.2.0-2+b1), the new version is not
installable. This has persisted for a few
Package: libenchant1c2a
Severity: minor
The short descriptions for libenchantc2{,a} have the letter P instead of
a closing paren at the end of the description.
Is the (library) bit even necessary there, considering that it repeats
what's already in the description?
