Yes please remove the systemd dependency. There are people out there who
do not want systemd on their systems. And it clearly does not need it to
work. Also installing systemd on sysv init based systems causes issues
and might at some point fatally break and make systems non bootable.

Hi,
Attached patch fixes the debian build dir with all the necessary patches
to build guile-1.6 succesfully on amd64 and armhf. So both the build
fix and the documentation build fix. It also cleans up the package a
bit.
Regards,
Philippe

Description: Binary data
Hi,
Replacing the original 01_makefile.patch in debian/patches by the one
attached fixes the build issues for both amd64 and armhf.
Please update your package so we can get the armhf port done.
Thank you,
Philippe

I can confirm the patch attached fixes #654201 too.
It fixes the build error both on amd64 and armhf (I expect on i586 a
rebuild would fail too but I have not tested it) Would be nice to see
this going into a release since it hits several architectures.
Thanks!

Recommends sounds useful, but please not depends. (Recommends seem to get
installed by default these days anyway). Gnome dependencies are growing way
too fast for things that are not needed.
Cheers,
Philippe

When compiling wget-1.10.2 there is no -O2 compile flag (well there is no
optimisation flag at all). This might be important for slower architectures.
Please enable the -O2 compile flag. Thanks!

I cannot reproduce this error either on normal x86 Debian unstable.
However I do have a different locale. I tried to match it, but still it
works for me. Could you be a bit more specific?

in meta is correct, and HTTP headers too (both
indicates that the encoding is UTF-8).
Could you try the new 0.8.5-4 version to see if these bugs are still in there?
Thanks,

Good idea :-)
