After full-upgrade from buster to bullseye _lxpanel_ is sometimes not present.
Restart of lightdm helps, sometimes multiple restarts are needed.
Output of ps -efx for OK and NOK case
oesn't map these features

Dear Maintainer,
I was not doing anything special. It occured right after installation. I just
configure email, the printer, and tried to set up a vpn to my university.
I tried to install the closed drivers, but now i only was thrown into
last shot - is your filesystem health ok?
It happens on two virtual machines running on the same host server.
They're similar but it seems unlikely that they'd suddenly both develop
the same defect in their file systems. Obviously the problem is that PHP
doesn't know where to put its logs
The effect is perfectly reproducible, but only on those two systems.
Even with the exact same apache and php configs I cannot reproduce the
effect on a third computer, though. Unfortunately I cannot recreate the
exact same set of packages there at the moment. Steps are as follows:

You say you are using libc6 from unstable on a lenny system. What is the
list of packages you tried to upgrade?
I tried to install a full KDE 4.2, that's quite a lot of packages and some of
them depend on the newer libc - I don't know which ones. Yet, that's not
necessary to reproduce the bug.

I see this problem, too (Debian unstable, i386, OO 2.4.0 rc1~2). When OO

I got it to work by editing /etc/dbconfig-common/bugzilla.conf
by hand (all entries below dbc_dbtype=mysql where empty, so
I filled in dbc_dbuser, _dbpass, _dbname a.s.o.) and removing
temporarily the password for MySQL's root user.
Hopefully that is somewhat understandable.

I am sorry to report that the package above did not work. I can see my
AP by iwlist scan but it does not associate.
I have attached some results of the test. Switching back to 20060928
made the system working again with the same configuration files (old

nfs-common (which belongs to the same software package nfs-utils) in
order to obtain a stable system.

reports about problems with some sarge versions.
The funny thing is that our setup worked well in an experimental
setting with 20 users for about two months, but when we went into
production with the whole system (300 clients, ~1000 users), we
experienced significant problems.

This makes sarge unusable for an ldap server. Our whole ldap system (a
few hundred users involved) was repeatedly blocked by this bug,
I'm still not sure if the user of basename()
instead of base_name() is the correct thing to do here.
It's the same function, so it should be correct.

funny things with it. A whitelist would also be tricky
though.
FWIW, my HTML/XHTML filter kses ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/kses )
includes a whitelist for URL protocols. It also checks for all the above
problems.

I have tested the *upstream* 0.8.14-rc3, and it fixes almost
all issues mentioned in this bug report.
If you select Show HTML messages under Options and then view the
message ilohamail1.msg, there will still be an XSS bug.

Hello,
here is a better patch. It removes the directory part of the
filename when it is read from the .gz file, and not when opening
it, so the earlier side effects should disappear now.
