Confirmed while testing Debian 12 bookworm installers alpha 1 & 2.
Picking locale "C" when installing desktop causes broken system with GNOME.
A serious issue, as mentioned above, is that gnome-terminal cannot run.
And, no error messages appear to inform user of problem.
journalctl shows:
fields as soon as the page
with the form loads. We're using this to implement a barcode scanner on
a raspberry pi 3, so that the browser is immediately ready to scan,
without a need to touch into the input field first.

I wonder if the error does not come from Thunderbird.
When I look at my mails (in thunderbird), the links work one time out of
two, or even less.
Almost systematically, the links loop on themselves and not in a
browser. and this despite a good mimeapps.list.
I can always rectify the

but "Gnome flashback" seems to break .
can't run this desktop .
not shure . didn't verified on a long time .
made a backup of mimeapps.list and re-created a new one . still the same
problem .
is it a gnome bug ? a thunderbird bug ? a firefox bug ?

that it takes some time for a full rewrite of a major
software to become production-ready. However, in that case, please don't
drop the working previous version (mailman 2.1) until the new one is
actually usable.
