Looks like it tries to use liblept3 instead of liblept4.

On an old computer I still use Sarge from time to time (my TV card
doesn't work in any later version...). I can boot the system with no
problem with chainloading, but I'm unable to boot it directly,
although the entries look correctly, e.g.
