Correct solution is to use a different folder to place MATE binary file,
not conflict against GNOME one. They could be co-installed.

I think mate-power-manager should simply depend on
mate-notification-daemon, or is there a good reason not to?
No, depend on libnotify is enough

Notification daemons arent running every time, they are just started

In this case the problem is

2. Manage our own ABI. Changes are becoming very infrequent, and we
could probably get away with changing the ABI once a year.
Thoughts?

Hi Tianon (2013.09.25_04:46:09_+0200)
distro-info-data: distro-info --stable --release still returns 7.0
That's by design. distro-info doesn't know about point releases.
Benjamin: Should we drop the .0 from wheezy and later, to reduce
confusion?

Wheezy is Debian 7.0, with point releases called 7.x.

and I think that scared him off, because I see zubin71 doesn't have a
configobj-py3 repo any more.
I don't see what makes this pkumar fork any more likely to be
maintained.
It has had no activity for two years, though.
Yeah :/

Here's what I did to get qgis to build in Ubuntu.
Apparently there's a new upstream release of qgis coming soon (that I
got one of the patches from).

Package: gnubg
Version: 1.01.003-1
Severity: important
Tags: upstream
Steps to reproduce:
- start a new match
- resign
- go back through the game history on the resign move
- ask for a hint (e.g. with Ctrl-H)
gnubg will pop-up a Gtk window with the following message
requesting the hint is empty, which I'll report upstream.
Thanks for the report!
Wow, that was ... fast :)
Thanks!
