Package: debian-installer Version: installation-report Severity: important Tags: d-i
Dear Maintainer, I tried to install debian via pxe but I get the error "The WPA/WPA2 PSK passphrase was either too long" In the logs I found this: "INFO: Reached timeout for link detection on enp2s0". Probably due to my slow pxe server. So in my preseed I put: "d-i netcfg/link_wait_timeout string 10" Then I tried to relaunch the installation getting the same error. However, the value of 10 seconds is not taken into account in the logs: "netcfg[2341]: INFO: Waiting time set to 3" It's probably the same bug that caused the problem: Bug#999771 This problem was also in the bullseye. Unfortunately I have not found any solution. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-9-amd64 (SMP w/32 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
