Hello 11 year after the initial report, the option is still looked for
I had to migrate automatically a great bunch of debian servers (more than 400) these years, from lenny to squeeze, squeeze to wheezy. I'm preparing to migrate to jessie (with xen inside, systemd and so on ..) The --silent, having only errors and warning show, would be much appreciated Even better, a verbosity option, defaulting to silent, with -v for small verbosity, -vv for actual output Thanks for considering this wishlist item Sincerely Laurent C.
