Hi, I've been trying to package PETSc 2.2.1 for Debian. It hasn't been easy. I tried using your 2.2.0 packages, but had difficulty understanding all the details, so opted to do packaging from scratch. Test packages are at deb http://www.cbcb.duke.edu/~faheem/debian/ ./ deb-src
