gstreamer-properties configures gstreamer0.8 only and there is (appearantly) not indication of this or hint what to do about gstreamer0.10. As applications (e.g. quodlibet) already use the latter and take their settings from gconf, this leeds to rather opaque failures. Please do provide support for setting both gstreamer0.8 and 0.10 to help transitioning or at least warn the user that the settings changes don't apply to gst0.10.
