I have tested the cdcat that You have sent me. It no longer crashes on
AVI files so far, much better this way than the distributional version.
However, it still crashes. Usually on editation of media label,
description and so on.
It seems, that saving frequently helps preventing the
fixed 410028 1.01b-2

I found the bug to be related to MP3 info. When MP3 ID3 and bitrate
detection is disabled, the bug disappears.
I can of course try the patched version -could You send me a .deb, please?
