Hi,
can You help me? Since I compiled the alpha squidguard, the original one
is unable to rebuild databases.

Okay, I solved it.
Seems that new squidguard sits somewhere in path now, so that
/usr/bin/update/squidguard script runs the new one. I have edited the
script, put the full path to distributional squidguard there and it
works now.
However, it shouldn't happen I think.

Also, sorry to cause a panic situation on your server. I should
have mentioned to only run make and not make install. Are you
running okay now?

Peter,
Did you run 'make install'? If not then the new squidGuard could never
get put in a path directory. Do a 'whereis squidGuard' to see if there
are more than one.
Thanks for running the tests for me. This is now over my head so I will
have to dig into it. I'm going to pass on your test

then just delete it.
