Hi all, I took a deep breath the other day and installed the etchnhalf packages from etch-proposed-updates on my laptop. (Dell Inspiron 6400 with ATI X1400). What I did is sketched out below [1]. I now have a nice etchnhalf kernel with fglrx working quite happily. 3D acceleration is working
