I ran into the orphaned pam-http, when I was investigating the status
of a security issue reported to the security team in private:

Please remove it from the archive, so that it doesn't ship with
Lenny:
- It doesn't meet the quality standards needed for a PAM module in the Debian
  archive, see the "Bugs" section of
  http://lists.canonical.org/pipermail/kragen-hacks/2002-February/000312.html
- It's virtually unused
