Could you please still reproduce this issue with newer gvfs version
like 1.12.3-4 or 1.16.3-2 ?
It is working fine here but I don't use reiserfs.

Some more testing and some more changes, but still the same problem.
I found out that it is only (so far) problem when working with my
reiser4 file system (home).
The other work, reiserfs (root), ntfs, samba(via gvfs).
I have changed the kernel to 2.6.38 and reinstalled policykit,
consolekit,

I'm sorry to say no.
Since one or two months copying with either Thunar file browser or
with gvfs-copy ALWAYS results in empty files.
Do you know how I can debug this? I hardly know anything about gvfs.
But some about dbus.

Recently I upgraded my system (after 5 months unused), and specially xfce4 with
thunar. I found that I cannot copy files with Thunar, they end up empty. I also
tried with gvfs-copy and get the same result.
