Same problem for me. Reverting from accountsservice 0.6.21-2 (in
unstable) to 0.6.15-4 (in testing) has completely solved the problem for me.

I seem to be suffering from the same bug (downgrading solves it though).
I got a backtrace by following the instructions at
http://live.gnome.org/GnomeShell/Debugging.
I've installed the debugging symbols for
Teodor,
it's apparently simple for you to reproduce the bug, so it would be
great if you could install the -dbg packages for gnome-shell,
libaccountsservice and libglib2.0-0 and get a proper backtrace.
Without further information from your side we are kinda stuck.
