Hi Stephan, Hmmm, it looks like /run/motd.dynamic is only updated by /etc/init.d/motd at system boot. Perhaps if the LSB headers for mythtv-status are updated to depend on motd I can then subvert motd.dynamic okay. Looks like I need to update my home Sid box to test this out. Cheers! --
