Hi, I did further tests (cf. Message #15 (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=710852#15)). Result: (1) the USB Ethernet adapter works with a 3.8.8 kernel (2) it does not work on kernels 3.10.33 (compiled myself) and 3.11-2-amd64 (latest LMDE kernel)
Test: - connect to a private LAN - assign via network-manager a fixed IP - trace with Wireshark; in case (2), nothing is captured!; in case (1) the expected data is captured - ping a known address; in case (2), Wireshark captures the local ARP request, but no response; in case (1), ping works I am not sure this a Debian error, maybe there is a problem in the kernel? So should I send this report to net...@vger.kernel.org or to linux-kernel? I will try to have a look to the relative kernel driver.
