The reason I ask is at the time of linux-3.12, there were a number of
bugs caused by the interaction of btrfs and the RT patches. Some of
them were btrfs, some of them the RT patches fault, and from what I've
read it's better now, but there are still probably issues.

Hi,
Downgrading btrfs-tools:amd64 from 3.12-1 to 0.19+20130705-3 did not fix
problem upon reboot with the same new linux-image-3.12-1-rt-amd64
kernel.
Every lockup requires me to use power button to shutdown. So I checked
more.
