Package: libturbojpeg1
Version: 1:1.3.1-3
Severity: wishlist

The short description reads: TurboJPEG runtime library - SIMD optimized
The extended description reads:
The LJT JPEG library is a library for handling JPEG files.

libjpeg-turbo is a JPEG image codec that uses SIMD instructions (MMX,
SSE2, NEON) to accelerate baseline JPEG compression and decompression
on x86, x86-64, and ARM systems.

This package contains the libturbojpeg.so.1 library, used by TigerVNC
and other users of the past TurboJPEG library.

This leaves room for greater clarity in a couple of places.

The first paragraph defines "The LJT JPEG library", but it seems nothing refers
to that in the rest of the description, so that definition's relevance is unclear.

The last paragraph refers to "the past TurboJPEG library". It is unclear what "past"
means there. Does it mean TurboJPEG is no longer current? If so, since the short description presents the
package as "TurboJPEG runtime library", does this mean the package is outdated? Or what?
