Hello, I reviewed the patches submitted in that bug and I have not found one worth committing. live-build is in low maintenance mode so I'm trying to not break compatibility with unnecessary new requirements.
In fact, I believe that the bootstrap_archive-keys step is entirely useless. We already have the --keyring-packages option. It forces usage of a package, but that's acceptable IMO. I'm going to drop the script entirely.
