Package: libexif-dev
Version: 0.6.21-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

The amd64 version conflicts with the i386 one which makes it impossible to
install both.
Fortunately the libexif.so symbolic link is provided by the libexif12 (which is
not
supposed to be the case). This mitigates issues if one is interested only in
libexif and
does not need the static library.

However libgphoto2-dev depends on libexif-dev, so despite proper multiarch
support in
libgphoto2-dev, one cannot use it to develop 32 bit applications on a 64 bit
system.

In particular this impacts the Wine development team (32 bit Windows
applications are
still the majority so 32 bit support is important to Wine).
