Package: notmuch-emacs
Version: 0.18.1-2~bpo70+1
Severity: wishlist

I'm storing my GPG key on a smart card, and this only work properly for
me with the gpg2 binary in Debian. But notmuch-emacs do not use gpg2
for decryption, only gpg, and decryption fail. Would it be possible to
change notmuch-emacs to try gpg2 first, and fall back to gpg if gpg2 is
missing? Or if that is not possible, make the binary used optional, to
allow me to select gpg2 instead of gpg?

The notmuch-crypto.el script have several '(call-process "gpg"...'
calls, but I do not know if it is enough to change those to decrypt the
emails, as I do not see any commands for decrypting the email there.
