Package: apcupsd Version: 3.14.12-1.1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I find the apcupsd process goes into uninterruptable sleep causing erroneous 1.00+ load average. I haven't verified if the system would shutdown if a battery event were to occur. Rebooting the host doesn't resolve the issue, it returns to uninterruptable sleep. Unplugging the UPS USB cable resolves the issue for a few days but eventually lands back in uninterruptable sleep. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages apcupsd depends on: ii libc6 2.19-18+deb8u2 ii libgcc1 1:4.9.2-10 ii libwrap0 7.6.q-25 Versions of packages apcupsd recommends: ii apcupsd-doc 3.14.12-1.1 Versions of packages apcupsd suggests: pn apcupsd-cgi <none> ii udev 215-17+deb8u3 -- Configuration Files: /etc/apcupsd/apcupsd.conf changed: UPSCABLE smart UPSTYPE usb DEVICE LOCKFILE /var/lock SCRIPTDIR /etc/apcupsd PWRFAILDIR /etc/apcupsd NOLOGINDIR /etc ONBATTERYDELAY 6 BATTERYLEVEL 5 MINUTES 5 TIMEOUT 0 ANNOY 300 ANNOYDELAY 60 NOLOGON disable KILLDELAY 0 NETSERVER on NISIP 127.0.0.1 NISPORT 3551 EVENTSFILE /var/log/apcupsd.events EVENTSFILEMAX 10 UPSCLASS standalone UPSMODE disable STATTIME 0 STATFILE /var/log/apcupsd.status LOGSTATS off DATATIME 0 /etc/default/apcupsd changed: APCACCESS=/sbin/apcaccess ISCONFIGURED=yes -- no debconf information
