Package: chm2pdf Version: 0.9.1-1.2 Followup-For: Bug #814601 I can reproduce this problem on Debian Stretch 9.6 with chm2pdf 0.9.1-1.2.
The workaround I found is to uninstall chm2pdf and install the 'archmage' package https://packages.debian.org/stretch/archmage which successfuly converts CHM to text, html, or PDF. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.6 Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.18.0-0.bpo.3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
