The documentation about dh_* -X parameters is misleading at best: ,---- | Note that files that are excluded from being moved via the -X | option are not warned about. `---- Please have a look at tag debian/1.13.0-1 of wimlib[1]: dh_install is called with -X.la, but the skipped file is not recorded for dh_missing, so I had to add a debian/not-installed file to avoid a build failure with the following message: ,---- | dh_missing: usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libwim.la exists in debian/tmp but is not installed to anywhere `---- Cheers, -Hilko
