Dear maintainer,
like last year, we are trying to remove Python 3.6 in favour of Python
3.7, so this package needs to be rebuilt to change its dependency.
I notice that Ubuntu applied a patch
http://launchpadlibrarian.net/396733868/python-cymruwhois_1.6-3_1.6-3ubuntu1.diff.gz
which allows for an unversioned shebang which in turn causes dh_python3
to not generate a dependency on a specifc Python 3 version. I'm not
sure if that patch is correct, but please consider evaluating it as it
could help in future transitions.
Otherwise, please try to debug why there are strictly versioned
shebangs, as those are a rare sight for architecture-independent
packages.
