Package: installation-reports Version: 2.62 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I succeeded to install Buster to DELL R330 UEFI + secure boot. Thank you for your great work. -- Package-specific info: Boot method: USB Image version: Debian GNU/Linux testing "Buster" - Official Snapshot amd64 NETINST 20190404-21:55' Date: 5th April, 2019 Machine: DELL PowerEdge R330 1U rackserver Base System Installation Checklist: [O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it Initial boot: [O] Detect network card: [O] Configure network: [O] Detect CD: [ ] Load installer modules: [O] Clock/timezone setup: [O] User/password setup: [O] Detect hard drives: [O] Partition hard drives: [O] Install base system: [O] Install tasks: [O] Install boot loader: [O] Overall install: [O] Comments/Problems: Everything was fine. I created installer USB by 'dd if=debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso of=/dev/sde bs=4M'. Though it was just for my interesting why I enabled UEFI Secure-boot, d-i worked perfectly. After the installation, Brand-new Debian booted from root partition of mdadm-RAID1 via UEFI without any problem. Thanks, Kenshi
