Dear Maintainer, As described on the upstream bug report (https://github.com/allinurl/goaccess/issues/1918) version 1.4 will exit with an error message stating the GeoIP database is unreadable: GoAccess - version 1.4 - Jul 23 2020 10:55:20 Config file: /etc/goaccess/goaccess.conf Fatal error has occurred Error occurred at: src/geoip2.c - init_geoip - 89 Unable to open GeoIP2 database: /usr/share/GeoIP/GeoIPCity.dat Despite the 1.2 version, and the programs in geoip-bin are more than happy to use the same file. This happens with both the Debian maintaned version, and the .deb package built by the author of GoAccess himself, hence I think it is safe to assume, it's an upstream issue.
