Package: emacs-nox Version: 1:26.1+1-3.2+deb10u2 Severity: normal I started emacs from xterm (via a ssh session) on some text file and quitted it with C-x C-c almost immediately. As a result, I got
^[]11;rgb:0000/0000/0000^[\% (the % is from zsh, because of the lack of \n), and "11;rgb:0000/0000/0000" appeared in the command line. I suspect that this is data sent by xterm as a response from some escape sequence sent by emacs. This could mean that emacs quits before waiting for the answer from the terminal. I can't reproduce this issue, but I think that a temporary network slowness (remember, this is via ssh) may trigger it. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.9 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-16-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=POSIX (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages emacs-nox depends on: ii emacs-bin-common 1:26.1+1-3.2+deb10u2 ii emacs-common 1:26.1+1-3.2+deb10u2 ii libacl1 2.2.53-4 ii libasound2 1.1.8-1 ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libdbus-1-3 1.12.20-0+deb10u1 ii libgnutls30 3.6.7-4+deb10u6 ii libgpm2 1.20.7-5 ii libjpeg62-turbo 1:1.5.2-2+deb10u1 ii liblcms2-2 2.9-3 ii libselinux1 2.8-1+b1 ii libsystemd0 241-7~deb10u7 ii libtinfo6 6.1+20181013-2+deb10u2 ii libxml2 2.9.4+dfsg1-7+deb10u1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-1 emacs-nox recommends no packages.
