Package: r8168-dkms
Version: 8.048.03-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I've recently gotten an Asus PN51 computer with what I believe to be a
RTL8111 NIC. With the r8169 driver, I can't connect to my network at all
(link detected, no DHCP) and with the r8168 driver the download
performance is abysmal (~50k/s downloading from another computer on the
same network)

After downloading 8.049.02-0 from upstream and building (used apt-get
source, updated contents from upstream, made a package using debuild -uc
-us) the card works as expected, and I get download approaching gigabit
speeds on LAN.
