adopter, hasn't seen an upload in a decade, it's almost unused in
popcon and the version in the archive is from 2002 (even though

needs to be rebuilt since that specific (version) gdal package (so
many dependencies down) is no longer available. Look at the apt

I'm not sure why the BSD license was included in common-licenses
originally. My theory was that it was to include all the licenses
mentioned by name in the DFSG. However, the

I had the same wish, and implemented a -mul option for multiplying the
intensity by a number; as the number can be either >1 or <1, there's no
need for separate options for increasing and decreasing.
The patch is attached.
The patch also makes -set, -inc and -dec accept non-integer values
