In theory, this should never happen; snd_card_create() takes an idx
that sets the order of cards, /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base-blacklist.conf
blacklists snd-pcsp (so it should never be loaded!),
and /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf sets idx=-2 for snd_pcsp so that
it's not loaded as the first soundcard.

Package: xinit
Version: 1.0.9-2
The following command ends up showing "0" for $? regardless of whether or not
startx actually succeeded:
startx; echo $?
Within the startx script, xinit's return code may be 1, but the commands
after the xinit run clobber $?. It should really be passed up to the
Hrm, after looking at the source package.. This patch would probably be more
useful.

Package: xfce4-goodies
Version: 4.6.1.1
The xfce4-goodies description still mentions xfmedia (which has been
removed from the archive), but makes no mention (and lacks a dependency
or suggestion of) parole (xfmedia's replacement). It would be good to
update the package accordingly.

It's a bit of a problem for me that gksudo isn't supported (nor the
ability to specify arguments to gksu). It would be nice if su-to-root
was a bit more flexible.
This is for a derived distribution; the assumption that sudo is
available (w/ su disabled) is ingrained
27;s where the upstream kernel places the device tree. Last minute
+fix for squeeze.

The current glib build-dep for pyobject is libglib2.0-dev (>= 2.22.4).
