Hi Michel,
There is something strange with this EXA problem. After booting and login the

but sometimes it becomes clear after restarting X. This behaviour seems
unpredictable.
I also started glxgears in a corrupted screen which suddenly became clear,

upgrading (today 23 oct.) my .Xmodmap which worked fine for years no
longer works.
My xorg.conf is config for us_intl but now xmodmap -pke shows a japanese

The Caps and Num Lock leds also still stay off.
The broken keyboard is a very annoying bug!

The problem with the keyboard that I reported previously seems to be related to
bug 447666.
After removing xserver-xorg-input-evdev (1.2.0~git20070819-3) the keyboard and
xmodmap function properly.

which ui are you using?
KDE, ui-classic, gnome-shell or ui-light?
I am using ui-classic with xfce4 (4.10) window manager and panel.
Same issue with zh-bopomofo.
Fcitx does't work at all with ui-light.

I have read your comment about the preedit concept but it doesn't seem
to work,
at least on my system using xfce4.
Choosing input method zh-pinyin (m17n) and for example typing ai1, no

I tried zh-pinyin input in mousepad, gedit and kate editors, no preedit is

Hi Sebastian,
After some research I have found that this issue is caused by
the MediaWrap (v.0.1.7.3) extention.
When MediaWrap is disabled Gecko-mediaplayer works correctly.
Kind regards,
