Lazarus-ide has a potential memory leak, which is fixed upstream with
the attached patch. Winff could not run in Ubuntu due to this. (I don't
understand why it was not a problem in Debian).

Find attached a patch that avoids trapping some FPU exceptions, since C
code handles them differently, or that the CPU exception flag is
leftover from the C library function call which C code wouldn't bother
but FPC needs it

The source of lazarus changed the packaging and moved the winff
build-dependency executable lazbuild into lcl-utils.
Thanks for reporting (looking into whether this was necessary was
planned shortly anyway).

I lack the skill and time to support such a patch, as I understand it is
far from finished. Unfortunately upstream does not seem to be interested
to implement UTF-8 because heavy rewriting is needed.
See for instance:
Package: python-mode
Version: 1:1.0-3.1
Severity: normal
On systems only running emacs22 the package python-mode is not
installable. Apart from the warning:
!! File /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/python-mode/python-mode.el uses
old-style backquotes !!
the python mode seems to work fine.

I was a little bit too quick with this bug report. The current version
in testing already fixed this bug.
Sorry for the noise.

Hi all,
With upstream of daisy-player (ITP: #595292) I am working on getting a
Daisy player for Daisy talking books into good shape. I am having
concerns about the current hack of upstream to ensure the program is
able to read from a cd. The upstream source contains one udev rule to

Upstream is now using udisks to mount the cd-rom in his version 5.0.
Because he wants to use madplay options -s, -t, and -o, he is currently
building his own madplay, which of course is unacceptable for Debian. I
am discussing the possibilities with him.

Upstream created a new version of daisy-player, version 5.2, which moved
away from udev, and uses udisks. Upstream does not compile it's own
version of madplay anymore, so that issue is solved.
I updated my packaging in my ppa and in the GIT repository. I will have
some people test the package
I tried a couple of more programs (ones which I normally do not use), and I
found that there are several other programs besides nedit that have the same
problem, for instance xpaint (2.9.1.4-1), xfig (1:3.2.5.b-1+b1) and xmgrace
(1:5.1.22-8), and the problem occurs (mainly) at the sliders at
