Much of packages has been updated in testing (wheezy) since this bug has
been reported.
Maybe it's not gnome-xcf-thumbnailer's package fault but the fact is
this package does not do what it is intented to do: thumbnails for XCF
files.
I'm not sure if this bug will no longer exist at

This is one of the only two remaining programs using Lua 5.0, it would
be nice to switch it to Lua 5.1 to reduce the amount of Lua instances
in the archive.
