The version of apt in experimental is buggy for what regards pinning:
see #308445 for a description of the problem.
As a workaround, one could set experimental as the favourite
distribution without using /etc/apt/preferences, but

Actually on my sparc machine XineramaIsActive() returns True, while
XineramaQueryScreens sets the number of screens to 0 and returns a NULL
pointer.
