Yeah, I totally agree it's an upstream bug, the bug exists in not only

This is what I ended up doing. Not sure if this is correct method but
seems to have worked. I can now perform an apt-get update && apt-get
upgrade.
sudo rm /usr/lib/go -Rf
sudo rm /usr/share/doc/golang-doc/ -Rf
sudo mkdir /usr/lib/go
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo apt-get update && apt-get
severity 841364 important
retitle 841364 clementine: unable to play anything in special
configuration cases, "GStreamer encountered a general stream error"

I still think that this is caused by a special use case

What is the fix for this? I have the same problem. Cant update
anything due to this problem. Should any new sources be added to
/etc/apt/sources.list?
