A quick fix would be to change the xs-python-version in debian/control

read its encrypted files anymore. Downgrading to 0.9.1-1 restored
the functionality.
gringotts uses libgringotts, which in turn uses the crc32 hash

on purging the package I get this error:
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libgstreamer-gconf0.8-0.prerm: line 9: gconftool-2: command
not found
I see that gconftool-2 is in libgconf2-4, which is a dependency,
noticed I had a 100% full /var partition
which probably caused all the trouble.
So I think you can close this bug, sorry.
