I think there used to be a packaged called gnucash-sql which allowed
gnucash to save data to a postgres database. That package doesn't seem
to exist any longer. Has the functionality of gnucash-sql been merged
into gnucash proper?

Subject says it all. Why does the latest dist-upgrade (using testing and
sarge) want to remove gnome, gnome-core, nautilus-media, gnome-media,
gstreamer, and a ton more apps (most of which I installed from
unstable)? This doesn't make sense to me.

The closest I've found for *nix is pgaccess http://www.pgacess.org/
which is a tcl/tk app and works quite well. I use it at work on my
solaris system.

well now. Guess I'll have to find time to grab the latest DRI code from
cvs.

I'm wanted to add some TrueType fonts to my system for X4.0.2 to use but
can't seem to find the ttmkfdir util anywhere in the packages. Has someone
packaged this? Where is it? I searched descriptions and package names at
debian.org but no go.

time which is annoying!
