That's good method I think, unless someone sends you .exe which you

I don't use Gnome2 as a desktop manager, eg. I don't have panels
running, I only use gaim, which links against libgtk2. So the problem
is where gaim (and other libgtk2 using apps) don't start some
component that gnome-control-center does start to load my own
preferences.
Just set it in
Is there a definition on what format I should use for that file?
If you only want to change font setting for GTK2 apps, try adding
line:
gtk-font-name = Verdana 10
Or any other font available for X in scheme
gtk-font-name = face size

Wildcard DNS. Try foo.bar.org.com or
this.hostname.cant.exist.org.com, it all goes to the same place.
the same as my, www.debian.org.maticompxp.w-s.pl for example,

OK, now I'm using corrected

looking so, the existing KDE3 packages could also go into Sid _now_.
You're right. Packages from kde.org are very stable, and I think -
correctly created, I'm using them for long time (about three months),

The machine itself has a name already (quantz).
yes :) but maybe it will be better to do some IN A records? In this way,

Sounds like a Windows problem,
But unlike dpkg-source v2, you can start using CBS right now. Sound
interesting? Here's the URL where you can download CBS:

Yes, it sounds interesting, but I had a problems with CBS and two
packages (mainly GNU Gadu 2 from cvs and Kadu from kadu.net). It's

Why not http://www.debian.org/devel, under Projects?
You're right! D-I is (I think?) official, and important project, and it
should have homepage in debian.org, not in something people on

that reddish tone? Please no; it's a very nice color, but I don't

why? In my windowmaker I'm using default debian-theme, and I like

But AFAIR in the Window Maker theme it's used for the active (?) title

Hello!
Is there any plans for the graphical installer? I know,
it isn't needed, but I think it would be nice step for

If I like the look of ratpoison, and someone themes it to look like W95,
I'm not going to like it when I'm surprised with Debian's themed version.
so maybe debconf should ask (when installing windowmanager) which theme
do you like - original from wm, or this debian theme ?

Sounds like a Windows problem,
Being able to automatically search and install modules or having easy
configuration for printers, has nothing to do with using a graphical

sorry - I meant not that. I meant about extending install-system

Hi!
I want to package Kadu, a Gadu Gadu client for linux, but not for
debian, because I'm not yet developer. I want to package it for

But there is one problem. Kadu is written in QT3/KDE3 and in debian
there is not kdelibs3-dev, so
kdelibs-dev is what you want.
is it really devel for KDE3? Why it isn't kdelibs3-dev?
