Nevertheless, I've also contacted card reader manufacturer, asking them if
there's some known problem with this reader and linux...

Since I upgraded my Ultra 1 Sparc from lenny to testing/squeeze, I cannot make
Sbus Big Mac to run.
With lenny's 2.6.26, it worked OK, but with both testing's 2.6.30 and sid's
2.6.32, I get the following message:

I could finally boot 2.6.20-1-k7 disabling pata_amd. I
