You know about cvs export? This would spare you to having to delete
the CVS directories.

Either that, or doing the changes in the export, and manually merging
the changes you've done back into your working directory.

following in my debian/rules... Is there a better, standardized way to do
this? (I've already looked at cvs-buildpackage, but I want to move away from
CVS sometime in the near future...)
