boot from the floppy, but the installer doesn't see the adaptec
card Now I make a new kernel with the AIC7 driver
(2.4.18-powerpc-smp).
It's possible to install a kernel from the built-in scsi to the 2940's
The kernel I'm booting up is on the internal PMac scsi, it's old drives
(2x 1Go and 1x3Go) in scsi 50 pin.

Two things:
1. Mozilla is C++ and as such Mozilla and Blackdown JDK (has C+ in it also)
must both either be compiled with gcc 2.95.X or both compiled with gcc 3.X
since the C++ ABI changed.
2. The current JDK *does* work with a properly compiled glibc-2.3.1
compiled with the same compiler.
